mixed feelings about my stay.
noisy air conditioning unenthusiastic staff
my stay had issues. the front desk lacked warmth. i booked online and it seemed they gave less care. our room faced noisy air conditioning. it was not what i hoped for.

The room was spacious and clean. The in-room dining was quick and good. I appreciated the hotel's location. It is great!
The front desk staff seemed disinterested in their job. They did not greet me! They also did not thank me for staying. There was no bellman or doorman available to help with baggage.

responsive staff clean room unfriendly bartender pricing structure
the staff at the front desk was responsive, it was a plus. the room was amazingly clean, i think housekeeping did a great job.
I noticed some bartenders who were not friendly, and almost rude. some drinks seemed overpriced while others were inexpensive. It did not make sense.

The location was convenient for getting around! i really enjoyed the clean restaurant and bar. Made for a super convenient evening. the location really made things easy!
i noticed that the front desk staff was not particularly warm or friendly during my interactions. also, i had an issue with the breakfast charge upon checkout that needed correction.

i have stayed at this hotel a few times, always liking the location. this stay was no different. the staff were cute and efficient. check-in was prompt and i was soon in my room.
the room service menu was a little limited for late-night dining.

historic building with slight issues
convenient location historical charm efficient check-in daily cleaning
The location was convenient though the building maintains historical charm. i found it well appointed. the reception from kevin was friendly after my long flight from the uk. Check-in was efficient. i noted that the hotel and bedroom were immaculate. housekeeping ensured our room was clean daily.
I had to follow up on a resort fee charged after i checked out. Though refunded, it was inexplicably less than the initial charge. this required contacting customer support again. the effort was a slight inconvenience.

The gym includes three treadmills and two stationary bikes. It allowed for varied workouts. the business center offers two computers and a printer. there is a gift shop near the lobby. it offers souvenirs and basic travel necessities.

i appreciated the hotel's convenient location near central station and fifth avenue. my one bedroom suite included a very comfortable bed. the club intercontinental lounge offered a great selection of breakfast items and daily changing evening canapés.
